air injection pump system doesn't work properly air injection pump system doesn't work properly

I have a 2006 Toyota tundra and I have had serious problems with the Air Injection Pump System. This system is useless and has design flaws. I live in a rural area and every time I start my truck, small debris gets inside the Air Injection and destroys the pump. I do not understand why Toyota did not place a filter on these pumps. I have read a few blogs and see lots of people complaining about this issue. I have contacted Toyota directly many times and they refuse to resolve this for 2006 models. My truck does not have any trade-in value at this point. Most of the time, when a vehicle has a serious problem like this, the customers file a class action lawsuit. I would like to know? When will Toyota take ownership for this issue and offer an reimbursement on the 2006 models like they did for the 2007 models???

When you call Toyota Customer Service about this issue , you can not get ANY Answers and they are Very Nasty, to you! They tell you to Write the CEO, Can you please give him a copy of this, and tell him that they are cheating me and the other customers. Therefore I hope he gets this Complaint!!!!!
