(Toyota going places) On Wednesdays February 5, 2014 about 5:30pm , while driving my 2006 Toyota tundra to work,I was yielding a right-hand turn onto I-95 South on ramp, as I made the right hand turn, the left-hand side of the front of my truck fill down very hard. I came to realize that the Ball joints head separated from the suspension , the bottom part of the left front suspension was dragging the highway. my left front wheel was stuck under my left running Board , also damaging the left front bumper , as well as the left front fender, also the left front door. Needless to say I was traumatized. I saw no warning that this accident was going to happen. I kept my truck in immaculate condition and regularly maintained at the Toyota dealership.

We decided to do a search on the web to see whether there were any recalls on this vehicle, (and there is on the 2006's Toyota tundra's) , however when I called the recall number and gave them my Vin number Low and behold they said that my truck was not in that recall (my VIN missed number it by 15 days)though it was an 2006 Toyota tundra .

However the representative asked me to take my truck to the Toyota dealership and get a written estimate at my own expense AAA, I did so and they kept my truck for about a day and a half, to make a long frustrating story short, fighting with the dealer and the Toyota representative for about two days, Toyota representatives and Chatham parkway Toyota client to make repairs to my vehicle , which this is the third Toyota that I bought from this dealership. By the way I didn't have it wait to get back-and-forth to work.

So I was asked to move my truck out of their shop. (So at my expense AAA )back to my house with my 2006 tundra (Toyota going places) I would like to say this I say this from my heart with no exaggeration at all, ( I truly feel that a lot of people are going to get hurt if not fatalities due to the defect 2006 Toyota tundra trucks, they need another recall.

There is a recall for this problem which we found out about from tow truck driver. Went to the local Toyota dealer who told us yes that our vin # is included in the recall. But, they said we would have to pay for repairs because we already had the recall item replaced there in 2010. We have never had any work done at this dealer! We asked for a copy of the receipt and they gave us one with a signature that was clearly NOT my husband's. Has anyone ever heard of something like this. Its completely fraudulant on the dealer's part. What can we do?
