problem #2

Dec 182014

Tundra Off Road 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 63,946 miles

Check engine light on, speedometer and odometer not working4WD high and low lights flashing no anti-lock brakes, took to Billings Lithia Toyota to find out what was wrong, drove on very icy roads to dealership, round-trip mileage is 260 miles with no anti-lock brakes, 4-wheel drive or speedometer. Dealership had to order part so have to take another day off from work to go back to dealership to have brake actuator assembly installed at a cost of $2,800. Warranty on vehicle expired Nov. 5, 2014. Makes me never want to buy another Toyota. Only have 64,000 miles on vehicle-think this is too few of miles to have something major go wrong with vehicle. I think the dealership should pick up some of the cost of this repair.
