There seems to be a problem with Tundra power steering pumps. I checked 4+ blogs on the Internet and found that is quite common, and expensive to fix. Some of the replacement pumps lasted only a year. Seeing that this is all out of my pocket, I might switch to a different brand of truck. (Ford)
What is the problem Toyota? Is there a QC glitch? Too many plastic parts in places that require a metal component?
I have had vehicles with 200K+ miles on the original power steering pump. ???
I bought this truck because Toyota has (had) a good reputation and my past experience with Toyota trucks. (This is #3) All of them were purchased new.
