The contact owns a 2010 Toyota Tundra. The contact stated that the rear seat belt was inoperable. The contact stated that the clasp failed to close. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed that the pin was open and causing the latch to fail to close securely. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 175,361.
