I have owned Toyota since I started driving. I am now 43 years old. The first truck was a single cab Toyota stick shift truck. It rolled up to 6 times from front to back, seat belt popped off, and it threw me outta the vehicle - the back window just popped out and didn't even break. I flew out and was dead on the scene. However I am now writing this so I did survive. However, I totalled that truck. I then purchased/leased a 2002 Toyota Corolla. It too was crashed after being stolen. No problems with it at all, but the gap insurance that was purchasers since it was a lease was not honored. Then a Toyota Camry 2002. It had brake troubles, and after few years told Camelback Toyota for years and was never fixed. However I kept the vehicle, cause I'm young and broke and have no other choice. Was a great car everywhere else. Right after I traded the Camry I received a letter for the recall on the brakes.

I traded it in on a 2012 Tundra, the safety rating then in 2011 for the 2012 tundras was excellent. Little did I know it was not safe what so ever for my then (in 2012) newborn child. Thought it was the safest for her. Well, it's not. It shakes horrifically driving down the road. I have changed tires, put new on changed rims, balanced vehicle, aligned and all that - with the problem remaining. Driving in traffic, a sudden stop? Well that's not what I can do. It will act as though it's stopping but it doesn't feels as though you are sliding.

The undercarriage I purchased the undercoat spray with purchase and, well, now the entire undercarriage is rust. So bad that my brakes were completely rusted and corroded that they had to be replaced rear and front. Replaced for 3,000 dollars and well it still doesn't stop. Crashed it and estimate to fix was about 5,000. Well at the end of that, a repair total cost 15,000 dollars, almost half of what I paid for it when brand new, and as soon as I got it the transmission started acting up. Was informed that it was not covered under the crash d/t them having premature transmission issues. This was at 150,000 miles. Dealership told me I could purchase refurbished one for 1,500. Or purchase new one for 3,000 and it will have warranty. So if course I purchased new.

This has been by far the worst vehicle as far as reliability ever. Dealership doesn't back any of their manufacturing errors. The entire vehicle once 6 years old has been a death risk. During that crash hit square in the center of the vehicle at 70 miles an hour. Not a single airbag deployed. Sent for investigation and was informed that it didn't meet the sensor requirements to deploy so was not faulty. Have had dealership employees drive the vehicle and tell me about the brakes and shake, however they can not fix the problem. Continue to give it back to me in the same unsafe condition.

I bought this truck brand new 216 mile on it when I purchased. Paid it off. Was my first purchase of a brand new vehicle. To me that is a big deal. I also am a honest up front person. I admit my faults when I have them. Why can't a dealership for multiple Americans do the same and fix their errors. I paid over 30,000.00 for this vehicle and have probably now purchased 2 of them with all the cost of there errors so I can get to and from work. I am the only one who works - my husband has been deemed disabled and I have no extra money laying around for a monthly payment. With the child, I was thinking I was keeping safe with this purchase. What has happened to the loyal, honest, do right dealerships? Greed when it comes to a business along with standing behind their product and fixing at their cost for their errors to the product will also be the loss of a business. I hope to see the day when Toyota recluses that all the tundras from 2005-and present have been made unsafe and they fess up to this issue and do what is right to those who have suffered from there error, and allowed people to continue to purchase there lemons.

Loyal, honest people is part of what made America what it was. It is a crime to rob people and that is really what Toyota is doing to society. Don't make Americans suffer anymore than what they already have to. You have become like politics lying about your product to make it sold, once sold acting as though you said none of that and now the people are screwed. Toyota continues to get rich and leave us paying out the ass, never able to be comfortable. DO NOT PURCHASE - IT WILL COST YOU WITH YOUR LIFE or WITH YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY FOR LIFE.
