The contact owns a 2012 Toyota Tundra. The contact stated that the vehicle slowly accelerated from a stop sign when the accelerator pedal was depressed. In addition, the stability traction control warning indicator illuminated. The failure recurred on numerous occasions. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the air injection failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired due to the repair fees. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and opened case number: [xxx]. the approximate failure mileage was 77,023.
