problem #2

Oct 012015

Tundra 4.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 32,000 miles

I got new tires and they told me that I had warped rotors. They resurfaced the rotors and I still had the wobble. Then they told me the tires needed to be balanced I did this and still have the issue.

problem #1

Mar 022015

Tundra 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 18,000 miles

I used to have a 2006 Tundra and it had the same problem. The dealer would say everything is tight. Took that truck in few times. Same thing. Had new Michelin tires put on and it corrected it a little. Now I lease this 2013 and sure enough same problem. Haven't taken it in yet. Hope it's covered under warranty. I think I know the problem. This steering is power assist rack and pinion. There is nothing to keep the steering from wobbling like the older models that used a damper. Rack and pinion is better for cars. Has anybody else had this problem? We need to start a recall before someone gets hurt or killed.
