When using the turn signal to indicate turning direction at night, all lights shut off randomly, leaving you with no way to see where you're going. This includes all cabin lights so you can't find the switch to turn the lights back on. This happen regularly. This has been detailed here: https://www.tundras.com/threads/auto-headlights-shut-off-with-turn-signal.22968 It seems Toyota knows about this problem already, as well as the fix for it, but won't voluntarily recall the vehicles to address it.

The dash instrument and gauge lights do not work during daytime when lights are set to automatic. Basic instruments are not clear and require that the driver be distracted much longer than is acceptable to try to read the dark instrument cluster. This condition is present in all driving conditions whether stationary or in motion. The local Toyota dealership instructed me to drive with the parking lights on so the dash would be lit. The dealership said this problem is present on all newer Toyota Tundra. Driving in the daytime with the parking lights on is illegal. Additionally, drivers are much more likely not to turn on the headlights at dusk as most drivers are use to having the lights set to auto. This and the distraction of trying to read dark and difficult to read instruments will cause accidents.

When using left turn signal, headlights and tail lights shut off for a few seconds. This happens in motion and when at a complete stop.

On my 2015 Toyota Tundra, the light from the radio display is so bright at night it makes this truck very dangerous to drive. When it rains at night it makes it 10 times more dangerous. This truck needs a dimmer switch for the brightness on the radio for night driving. If you wear glasses like me, the light from this display make a glare. I have two kids, one is 15 months and the other is 3 years. I do not like to go out at night with them in the truck do to this unsafe feature. Something needs to be done about it !!!!
