I purchased this 2016 Toyota Tundra 4/4 Crew Cab in July 2016. i have had it in the Servive Dept on numerous occasions.
I have to XSP Tire Wheel Package. and, My Vehicle has been Shaking in the SEATS, FLOOR, STREERING WHEEL and GAS PEDAL. the Service Dept. told me that Its the XSP Tire and Wheel Package. And, that and Tundra WILL SHAKE WITH THAT PACKAG SO AS LONG AS THAT XSP PACKAGE is on that Tundra.
WELL, WHY DOES TOYOTA KEEP INSTALLING TIRE AND WHEEL PACKAGES THAT MAKES THIER VEHICLES SHAKE/ VIBRATE
is you Google Toyota SHAKING/VIBRATION you will see that its happening in many different Models and nothing is being done. Toyota Claims the SHAKING/ VIBRATION IS A VEHICLE CHARACTERISTIC. WOW !!!!!

2016 Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition (CrewMax). Entire truck shakes regardless of whether accelerating, braking or coasting. Issue is intermittent, has been difficult to find patterns which improve/worsen the situation, but seems most noticeable at lower speeds (up to ~65km/h) and when going easy on the accelerator. Best described as a really, really rough ride. Bumpy roads make the vibration worse. Sometimes takes the truck 5+ seconds to 'settle down' after going over even extremely minor bumps/cracks in the road. Can be reproduced on smooth roads as well, though usually felt as a (relatively) mild vibration. Do not feel the vibrations in the steering wheel (at least, no more so than the seats, center console, gear shift, etc.)
Issue was noticed immediately on initial test drive. Dealership said it was likely a tire balance issue, flat spots on the tires, something to that effect; "we'll get it taken care of". (Stupidly, I believed that.) Appointments: Appnt 1: Tires balanced - no effect. Appnt 2: Reduced tire pressure from sidewall specs to inside-of-door specs - little (if any) effect. Appnt 3 (dealer #1): "I feel what you're talking about but maybe it's just an extra stiff suspension..??" - no action taken. Appnt 4 (independent tire shop): Balance is good, tire pressure is good, tires are in good shape, nothing is bent or broken. "There is something very, very wrong with this truck but it isn't the wheels or tires. Drives very strangely. Feels like an empty one-ton with 80 PSI in the rear tires. Vibration/resonance can be felt for a long time after hitting a bump." Appnt 5 (dealer #2): "Yeah it's definitely an extremely rough ride but without knowing what's wrong we just can't change out parts hoping to get it, so I'll have to check with Toyota" - case submitted to Toyota Canada. Toyota's response: Confirms that similar complaints exist. "It is currently being looked at by engineers in Japan".

I bought my 2016 Toyota Tundra SR5 w/ TRD Package with 15 miles on it. It drove extremely quiet and smooth for the first few days. At about 200 miles a front end vibration (felt in gas pedal and floorboards) and groaning noise (reminiscent of a dry diff) started. At first it was intermittent but is now fairly constant after a few days. The issue would not be present with a cold engine but would start after a few minutes, usually after a turn or after a slight bump. Oddly enough a slight bump has, on occasion, caused the vibration to temporarily cease. The vibration/noise is not speed specific but is only present from about 1700 and 2000 RPM which happens to be just above the coasting RPM. The slower I accelerate from a coast the more pronounced the vibration is. The vibration has also been accompanied by some serious rolling resistance.
My first trip back to the dealer included a drive with the assistant service manager who, of course, did not feel anything out of the ordinary and said that it is normal and the truck just needs to be broken in. The problem I have with that is that the truck was completely fine UNTIL it started to get broken in.
I have an inquiry to the assistant service manager again with more details of the symptoms.
