Driver's Seat appears to have some play in it where when accelerating or coming to a stop, the seat bottom will move forward and/or backwards. This has continued to happen and after repeated attempts to have the dealer resolve it, they have basically told me it was designed that way. We've never had another Toyota product do this. We do understand there are certain specifications needed to meet safety requirements, but we've sat and driven in other models of the same specifications and their seats do not do this.

Since around 35,000 miles, the 10-way Power Adjustable Driver's Seat makes a terrible squeaky sound when going over any bumps in the road. If the Driver were to move while in the seat, the squeak is present. We have already paid out of pocket (not considered a warranty issue because nothing is "broken"), but the squeak has returned. This is no fault of the dealership, but because of the design that Toyota implemented for just the 10-way Power Adjustable Driver's Seat. If we reduce the Lumbar Support down to its lowest setting, the squeak gets better but it makes the seat that much more uncomfortable. These are the worst seats we've ever had in any vehicle, let alone a Toyota/Lexus product.

My double cab seating is not spaced properly in the back. I cannot fit a child. It's about 2 and 1/2 in away from the center console and this back in the front seats. It's a safety issues. My children legs can get crushed in an accident or any type of seat movement. This is a safety answer and a concern. Nobody can sit in the back. It's misleading. The truck States as a five-seater. It's not a five-seater. You cannot fit three people in the backseat it's impossible. I tried to trade my truck in for a crew cab which have space in between the seats and the councils and the front seats and the dealership didn't want to work with me. This is a concern. Also, there's still no remedy on the gas line in the front. That's a concern too which can cause a fire double cabs are a safety hazard. Due to the seat space needs to be corrected. A crew cab has space in double cab does not My children were complaining because their knees were rubbing on the backseat and on the console always complaining when I give a ride to a family member, a grown person. They also complain about their knees rubbing on the backseat and on the console. It's very safety hazard if you get into an accident, you can crush your legs and your knees also the problem with the gas line. It's very concerning drive in a highway or in the local roads. Can't catch a fire can cause a death can cause injury can cause burning it. Have the remedy on the recall hasn't been fixed and it's been over a year now. It's been 2 years 3 years I was trying to trade my truck in with the dealership with Central Florida Toyota and they were in cooperating with me. I explained to them the problem and they were trying to sell me a crew cab for $55,000. It didn't make sense. I needed my car payment to be at least $650 a month which I needed at only finance $38,000 their pricing these tundras very high. It does not make any sense and these trucks have a lot of recall and a manufacturer defect with the back seat with the seating spacin

The driver side front seat side shield panel cracked two months after vehicle was purchased new. It was replaced under warranty at the Toyota dealership. It cracked again three months later and was replaced again by the Toyota dealership. About 3-4 months later, it cracked again and was replaced by the Toyota dealership. This was on 04-21-23. On June 29, 2023, it cracked again for the fourth time. Dealership so far has not agreed to replace it under warranty and we are pursuing warranty claim with Toyota headquarters. I have owned 5 Toyota trucks and never have had this problem. When the front seat side shield panel cracks, it is a plastic part inside that is breaking. It is probably occurring when entering and exiting the vehicle possibly sliding across the side edge of the seat. There are several of the same problems with the seat posted on the internet for this truck. This is a design flaw and needs to be corrected by Toyota. It creates a safety hazard as you cannot operate the seat properly when it is broken.

I actually have too very serious issues with my new Tundra. 1) my seat is coming loose from floor of my truck every time I take a corner it feels like it's going to tip over and makes a loud clunk and it feels like the back of the seat is separating from the part where my rear end sits (aka my butt) 2) when it rains the water flows off of the hood and then I am assuming the fan that goes to radiator spits a blast of water right in my driver's side of windshield, this because the poor design of the grill on certain 22 Tundra Limited models. Very dangerous if you ask me or anybody else that has this problem which is quite a few people from what I have seen on 2022 Tundra Forums. Those are just 2 major issues of the many I have.
