Tundra

  • Automatic transmission

I bought my 2022 Tundra in July 2023 (2 months ago). Since day one I noticed a very loud noise every time I press the brakes, especially in the mornings or when the truck has been idle for a couple of hours.

Very disappointed. I have a new truck which is not cheap and makes this horrible noise. Not even the old cars in my neighborhood make that noise it is very embarrassing. I went to my dealer in Palm Beach, Florida and they told me " ALL 2022 AND 2023 Toyotas have the same problem, and we don't have a solution yet". They are making us buy sh*tty trucks and now we have to swallow all these imperfections. Shame on you Toyota. Be aware and don't let any of your friends buy a Tundra unless they want to have this super horrible sound with them everywhere.

Tundra Limited 3.4L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 15,000 miles

So, possibly two months(may-2022) after I got the vehicle I started hearing the horrendous squeaking coming from somewhere underneath my vehicle whenever I’ve reversed first thing in the morning, that’s the first thing you hear. I did bring this up to Toyota dealership. They contacted Toyota directly and they changed my brakes and rotors. but that didn’t solve the problem. So now it’s squeaks in the mornings and every time I make a stop. Brought this up again to Toyota(February-2023) and they stated that they’re working on a solution for this.

Tundra SR5 3.5L V6

High-pitched noise when reversing. This happens when vehicle is cold and parked.

There's a squeaking sound when you apply the brakes. Consider that this is a brand new truck. I've been dealing with this noise for the last two months.
