The lane assist can be helpful, but it has almost lane assisted me into a wall due to construction. I tried turning it off, and it would not turn off. I had the truck in for a recall and let them know. I was told it was an error that would not clear in the electrical system. They reset it, and now it works ok. Fast-forward 10 days - repeat issue. Lane assist alert fails on my way to work, turn it off (actually worked this time), and now I need to take it in.
