The contact owns a 2024 Toyota Venza. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at 10-20 making a left turn, a Land Rover veered in her path, and she crashed. The auto collision system did not engage.? The brakes were applied but failed to respond. There were no warning lights illuminated. There were no reported injuries, fire or air bag deployment, or police reports filed. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 2,500. The VIN was not available.
