I have written about this before to Toyota, heard nothing, and haven't taken it in, I jus took for granted that it was a "small" car thing that was normal. I would be taking groceries out of the back from the trunk, hands full with a bit of a wind, it has come down several times at times very hard on my head, once almost causing me to black out. The trunk will not stay up with the lightest of touch, I live alone, on a fixed income, I'm not elderly but do not have the money to fix this kind of stuff. I believe I shouldn't have to as I lease this car.
