Four (4) failures for the same reason, car stops running, runs out of gas even though the gas panel shows three and four lines of gas available. The car has stopped running in the middle of the road while traveling with kids. Was taken to the Toyota dealer in Feb 2008 and they claim they replaced the fuel system. After 2008 the car has had the same defect and has stopped in three (3) different occasions. It has been towed four times. I will pursue legally against Toyota if I have to do so.

The contact owns a 2007 Toyota Yaris. While driving at speeds of 35 mph, the contact stated she smelled a gasoline odor. The vehicle was moved off the roadway and upon further inspection she found gasoline leaking from under the vehicle. The dealer was contacted and advised she would be liable for any repairs to the vehicle. The failure and current mileages were 76,000.

I was driving my 2007 Toyota Yaris on March 30,2010 around 1600 hrs and the accelerator stuck in the full throttle position and caused a collison after the brakes failed to hold the vehicle back for approx 200 feet down the road. When a good samaritan stopped the accelerator was still stuck full throttle and caused the vehicle to skid off the roadway into a ditch where it traveled down the ditch coming to rest against a large boulder. I sustained a concussion and knee and hip pain associated with the impact. I am wishing to report this incident since Yaris has not been mentioned in any of the literature I have found printed by Toyota. My vehicle was purchased at bryan easler Toyota in hendersonville nc and had 50000 miles on it and it is still under warranty all maintenance has been performed at this location and they should have any records you require. Your attention to this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Vehicle's computerized gasoline full/empty equipment collapsed while driving the highway, and vehicle running suddenly shut down not able to start again in the middle of the road. Fuel console showed the vehicle had 1/2 tank fueling but would not start. Vehicle towed to Toyota car dealer. Dealer replaced the whole computerized fuel warning system. Gas tank was entirely empty however showed that had 1/2 tank fuel.
