The VW dealer installed battery was 30 months old and suddenly wouldn't start. My son came and we tried to jump start it - no luck. The sunroof was open and it was going to rain so we got it closed with the jump and had it towed to the dealer. A new battery got it running. No radio when I picked it up so they took it back to the shop and 30 minutes later said OK, we've got it working. When I got in it, I tried to open the sunroof - no luck. They took it back and gave me a ride home because they were closing. Nice. Then they found the bad control module and had to order it. 3 days later I got to come get it again. This time, no air conditioning - Comfort control module (CCM) installed - I'm up to over $900 now. I pick it up and drive it home - in third gear all the way - a code had been set in the module to keep it there! So back to the dealer - clear the code and drive it again. No power! Back to the dealer - they said the intake manifold is clogged - $400 - I said no thanks.

My battery went dead, for no reason, probably because water keeps leaking into my car is my new theory. Anyway, we put a new one in, but my AC would cut out if the engine went under 2000 RPMS?! I also started having my door alarm issue where the driver door usually doesn't know it's been opened. I drove an hour to the nearest VW dealer, in Savannah. They charged me $100.00 to reset my computer. This should have been a courtesy.
