The contact owns a 2004 Volkswagen Beetle convertible. The contact stated that the instrument cluster and obd devise failed. The dealer refused to inspect the vehicle because all the gauges on the instrument panel were disabled. The vehicle was taken to another dealership where the contact was informed that the instrument panel needed to be replaced. The contact called the manufacturer and filed a complaint. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000. The current mileage was approximately 77,000.
