The glove box would not open. The last time I tried to open the glove box, the latch broke.

Again another thing that falls apart in my car. As I am in my car I reach over to open the glove compartment box and the latch breaks off at the hinges. I look at the part and the plastic has just crumbled away from the hinges. The words " Made in Mexico" appear next to the part number on it. Maybe this plastic is cheap yet they charge an arm and a leg for it. This so upsetting for me. My car is very well taken care of by me and I just can't seem to understand why they make parts that don't withstand some time. If it were made here in the good old USA this would not happen.
