It is my granddaughter's car. I am the first line mechanic it seems. I believe we have replaced five headlight bulbs over a period of two years. We have replaced the same taillight bulb five times over the last year. The taillight assembly plastic has melted around the brake/tail light socket. I admit I don't understand the problems here. I suspected the alternator was putting out too high a voltage but it wasn't I just keep replacing the bulbs. At fifteen bucks a pop for the headlights and three for the taillights it is beginning to get expensive.
