This is a Florida car originally. I am writing this to add to the growing list of people that have had issues with VW transmissions. Apparently VW is aware of this embarrassing defect, but has taken no action to keep their remaining customers. If Adolph was still around, even he would be embarrassed!!!

I just want to let people know that there is an issue that is very expensive to repair. They need to know this when contemplating spending their hard earned dough on what they may think is a great automobile.

When your engine suddenly decides that it wants to be in neutral while you are driving, this is a very serious, life threatening situation because you have no ability to control the movement of the car safely!!

I realize, of course, that this is a used vehicle that is subject to parts wearing out, but this is historical issues!
