CC Sport

  • Automatic transmission
  • 56,000 miles

This 2012 VW CC Sport has been nothing but problems since I got it. I only have 56,000 miles on it. I bought it out of a two year Lease from VW Dealership. You name it, I have had it replaced. Now the latest, while driving, the Power Steering is Failing! I have to work my way off the roadway, hardly able to turn the steering wheel, turn off the car, re-start the car and that re-sets the Module (I guess) and I can get back on the road. However, this is happening multiple times on each trip. I only drive about 15 miles round trip when I use the car.

When Vista VW in Pompano Beach, FL replaced the Takata airbag, they gave me back the car with a number of warning lights illuminated. They told me a wheel sensor was bad and it was a few hundred to repair it. I opted out. This includes the air bag light being on since the replaced the air bag. Who knows if it will work. Now I am reading about Clock Spring Failures since the Airbag was replaced... and for some owners, for a second time. The prices are ridiculous to replace the Clock Spring.

My problem is electrical, at a minimum. Recently, my steering wheel makes a rubbing sound in the column, when I turn the wheel. Another Problem!
