I just purchased a new-used 2013 VW CC which had only 28K on the dash. After driving it for a week, the CEL came on. The verified code was P2015 Intake Manifold Malfunction. Assuming the repair will be done at no cost through the local VW dealership, I was highly disappointed when the VW service rep told me that my car was out of the warranty scope . He then went on to tell me that the estimated cost for the repair was about $1,260!!!!......INSANE! Why would a car with just under 30K miles throw a CEL for a failed intake manifold is beyond me! Nevertheless, this has weakened my trust in the VW brand. I've had many cars in the past, but this is a first for me!
