The contact owns a 2014 Volkswagen CC. The contact stated that recently the trunk lid started failing to open as needed. The contact stated there was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that there was a clicking sound coming from the trunk release switch located on the driver-??s side. The vehicle was not taken to be diagnosed or repaired. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer had been notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 35,000.
