About These NHTSA Complaints:
The NHTSA is the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints can be spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem. See the Back button — blue bar at the very top of the page — to explore more.
-air bag - repeated sensor failure, which are disabling the air safety system. - failure of the red led dash display (the red display boards have a history of failure due to 4 defective solder on the circuit board) which makes the operator unaware that doors are not closed and latched, so that the doors open without warning with the vehicle in motion. Also, loss of verification of shift location ( is the vehicle in park-drive-reverse) which can cause the car to move without warning.

Power windows do not operate in sub-freezing temperatures. With no ice or frost on windows they just do not want to move in very cold temperatures, 30 degrees F and below. Notified dealer, their response was to reset the window controller which gets the window working until the next sub freezing temperature event. No attempt was made to determine the cause of the failure. Because the windows need to move to open the door in this car and a trip to the dealer is required to get the windows working again this could be a potential safety concern.
