my 2007 eos was in a minor accident. when i put the convertible top up it shattered the windshield and sunroof. i took it back to the dealership (Auto Outlet of Pinetops, NC) where they had it for 4 months with no results. the dealership (Auto Outlet of Pinetops, NC) then took it to the VW dealership in Greenville, nc and told the VW dealership that all the replacement parts were paid for and that the only thing needed to be done was to put the car back together. Immediately after Auto Out of Pinetops, NC dropped of my car the repair manager at the VW dealership in Greenville, NC called me to say that Auto Outlet of Pinetops, NC had ruined my car and that it looked like it had been vandalized. He reported to me that what should have only cost 3200.00 dollars and a couple of hours to fix (which my insurance had already paid Auto Outlet of Pinetops, NC) would now cost me between 7000.00 to 8000.00 to repair and that all the replacement parts had NOT been paid for as Auto Outlet of Pinetops, NC had stated to him. i did not have that kind of money so we strapped the top down and drove it home on a wing and a prayer. looked at all the auto stores near us and on the internet for a Haynes or Chilton repair manual and found none. i called the VW manufacturer to see if we could purchase 1 from them. the VW manufacturer reported they do not sell their repair manuals to the public. now my beautiful car sits in the garage with no hope in the near future. is there anyone out there that can help? please? i bought the car on May 5, 2016 it has been down since May 14, 2016. you can email me directly at cecilforrest@yahoo.com.
