CHOKED!!!! Thankfully I was in the city when the stupid car decided to not go above 40 km. What if I was on the highway? I'd be stranded... Should have bought another Subaru instead of VW.
I have my 1990 Subaru which I had to rely on once I limped the VW home. Pretty sad when you need to count on the old vehicle and not the new one - VW should be recalling this - why should I have to pay for it?.... not only did it happen once, I drove it for 2 days and the same thing happened again.

running on two cylinders, check engine light flashing
I believe the coils should last at least 100,000 miles. I have not had to replace a coil on another of my vehicles in all my years of owning a vehicle with 200,000 miles.

My car has been in the shop 4 times this year!
Engine lights -Catalytic converter failed
Super jerky driving - continuously took to dealer and could find nothing until I asked about the fuel filter - changing the fuel filter helped for 3 weeks until this issue
Dramatic, lagging, hesitations on acceleration has been a consistent issue and when the car was new, I loved the peppy feel that is missing - dealer can't find an issue.

I bought a used 2012 Eos Comfort in September of 2015. Three weeks after I bought the car, two ignition coils had to be replaced. Two months after I replaced them, the OTHER two ignition coils went out. I had to replace all four ignition coils for the SECOND time less than three months later. The last time I had them replaced, the car only lasted another month before the check engine light came on due to ignition coil failure again. REPLACE THE DAMN IGNITION COILS!!!
