This is a very nice car except it burns a ton of oil. Someone asked me if it was a diesel because of the sound it makes at idle. I have seen many people with the same issue. I took it TO THE DEALER and spent $800.00 on diagnosis before they told me the car was fine and the oil is being ATOMIZED by the engine. I told them that was a crock of bull and asked them if people believe crap like that. Needless to say I am sure my face is on a dartboard at the dealership. The service guy also told me that they only repair cars and VW of America is responsible for the making of the car. That right there tells you VW is just a bad engine maker. I have always been a VW fan and have owned many. My 2006 diesel was one of the best cars of all time. I sold that to by the EOS which was probably a mistake. And on top of everything else this car gets poor gas mileage. I think VW as a brand is going downhill fast. This is probably my last VW. I think that is SAD.
