The car was sent in for the dash rattling during acceleration once before and the repair did not fix the issue. The dealership replaced the AC vent trim and a seal behind the dash. This fixed the issue.

The dash would rattle during acceleration. It sounded almost like a loose screw was sitting on top of the dash. While this issue didn't impede the operation of the car, it was definitely annoying and quite embarrassing. Nobody wants their car to rattle that loudly every time they step on the accelerator. The car was taken to the dealership, where they replaced some clip in the engine as per a VW technical bulletin. This did not fix the issue and I ended up having to bring the car right back in.
