The contact owns a 2016 Volkswagen Golf. The contact stated that the sun roof malfunctioned and caused water to enter the vehicle. The vehicle was taken numerous times to an unknown Volkswagen dealer. The dealer replaced the sun roof sealant, but the failure was not corrected. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the sun roof rack needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was 7,000.
