Went to wax my car and notice several areas where paint is chipping at an alarming rate. Have only had the car for a year. Took it to the dealer for repair and the gentleman behind the counter asked if I did a lot of highway driving. What does that have to do with it. So I showed him when you sit in the drivers seat you can see chipped paint on the hood that faces the window also to show it was a bad paint job. Waiting to hear what they are going to do. I have the 6 year warranty but fear VW will find away around repairing as they have done with several other issues I have had with the car. What a disappointment.
