2015 Golf NOT TDI... Again has malfunctioned .. Start up it idles really rough and then a warning appears 'TRANSMISSION" and an exclamation point... The words go off the screen quickly but not the exclamation point-- I took a pic of that... Shut off car and start up --same as last time.. Problem goes away.

NOTEWORTHY: the car did NOT have this problem until after I took it in for routine maint.... At that time they did a software update on the transmission that was February 5, 2016. The receipt says "perform open recall 37J2.tmc as per factory recall. Updated software to transmission control module

Well that little software update is causing the car not just a transmission problem but an engine problem as well-- this new car should NOT be idling like 10 year old car.

After waiting 2 hours at the shop, they decided to give me a ride home because they claim they need time. Well I need a car! One of the managers even brought up the "lemon law"... Saying I would have to have 3 separate repairs before this car would be considered a lemon---- is there something they know about how this is going to end up?
