Absurd. The drizzling distortion as driver views anything to the right side of windshield is bad enough there is no tricking the brain it isn't there. Don't buy a new VW without giving the windshield optics an extremely close inspection. Dealer of course will not consider the problem enough to admit defective quality. Also would be logical that if you have a newer VW windshield replaced w/ OEM VW windshield, tell them up front a distorted windshield will be unacceptable.
