Golf SportWagen

  • Automatic transmission
  • 49,000 miles

Problem first started off when I filled up the car and the check engine light went on. then minutes later the fill ad-blue came on with a warning that the engine will be disabled in 600 miles. Verified the ad-blue was filled called my dealership and was told to drive it in. so I started my drive in. I was a 60 miles out. during the drive back doing 75 the ECS lights went on, ABS lights went on, AIRBAG LIGHT WENT ON AND TPMS WENT ON. CAR STILL RAN OK. THEN THE WHOLE CONSOLE WENT OUT RADIO DASH TEMP CONTROL SYSTEM. ENGINE SHUTTERED VIOLENTLY AT 75MPH.

I pulled over to the next exit and drove it the next 40 miles at 45MPH. got it to the dealer and I showed them how my glove box and the little glove box by driver side had water in it. Dealer called VW and was told user abuse and they will not cover this. I just bought this in December as a certified pre owned vehicle with a 2 yr bumper to bumper warranty and the TDI warranty extensions. but still no coverage..... I smell Class Action lawsuit again. They got hit with sunroof issues with a previous class action suit do this again....

Golf SportWagen SEL

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,500 miles

The clogged drain pooled water into the headliner, which then left an ugly stain on the inner fabric, and had the potential for mold growth.
