The contact owns a 2023 Volkswagen ID.4. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to a dealer after hearing that there was a defect with doors. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be repaired. The contact stated that on several occasions, the front passenger-??s side door inadvertently unlocked and opened while driving at slow speeds. The vehicle was then taken to Colonial Volkswagen of Westborough (89 Turnpike Rd, Westborough, MA 01581) however, the contact was unable to schedule an appointment to repair the vehicle. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 2,700.
