The turn signal/cruis control handle fell off, preventing the operator from signaling an intent to turn. The handle was not damaged in any way to cause it to fall off other than normal use. The handle is dangling by its wires to the cruise control and the operator is unable to signal an intent to turn.

Cruise control switch shorted and car accelerated in excess of 80 mph, and would not shut down. Only way car would slow down if cruise control switch held manually to off as it would not permanently shut off. Braking did decelerate but engine continued at the same RPM, as cruise control would not disengage.

While driving at 55 mph cruise control switch shorted out. This resulted in vehicle suddenly accelerating in excess speed of 80 mph. When this occurred consumer immediately turned the key in the ignition to the off position. Then, vehicle started to decelerate. Dealership was contacted, but it was not indicated what caused the problem. They only stated the cost to have the switch replaced.
