Consumer received a recall notice on the ABS control unit in March 2002. An appointment could not be made until July 10, 2002. The ABS light & brake light illuminated. Consumer was told to continue driving the car until June 25. Consumer took the vehicle to another dealership where they were appalled that under the severity of the ABS unit consumer was told to keep driving.
