New rotor and pinion estimated replacement cost $900. When I turn the wheel hard it will squeak/hoot sound that makes you cringe. I've been driving on it for about 6 months with it progressively getting worse. Shop said I shouldn't leave town as eventually I won't be able to turn the wheel. I'm hoping to sell before having to fix and put money into an older car. Also had an issue with engine light on at same time and needing new coils.
