cold weather-car always starts very well. one morning, couldn't start car. next morning, car started perfectly. put in 1st gear-car stalled, couldn't restart. several hours later car started. after idle of 2 minutes, car stalled, unable to restart. towed to volks dealer. fuel sensor replaced. garage had car for 1 week after-no problems reported. next day-very cold, but car started-drove 4 blocks, car stalled-couldn't restart-towed to volkswagen where I now awaiting their verdict. I had this problem several weeks ago. brought car to reliable garage-no problem reported after they used my car for 1 week. I then used my car for 2 weeks-car ran perfectly-then problem started again. Car very well maintained and in perfect condition. Want to keep at least another year but need a reliable vehicle as I do a lot of out of town driving.
