Contact owns a 2007 VW Jetta. Current mileage was 30,573 and failure mileage was 27,000. Contact stated since the purchase of the vehicle the air bag light would flash on the dash board. Contact took the vehicle to the dealer and repaired the seat belt as well as a sensor for the air bag. The next morning the air bag light came on and so the contact took the vehicle back to the dealer. The dealer did a diagnostic test and did some more repairs and 3 week later the air bag light came back on. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and they replace a sensor in the door. One week after the sensor was replaced in the door the air bag light has come on once again. Contact has not taken the vehicle back to the dealer at this time. Contact feels this vehicle is unsafe and that the air bags are unreliable.

I was involved in a side crash and the driver air bag, dash airbag and passenger air bag all deployed. The dashboard airbag deployed with such force, it broke the rear view mirror off of the windshield and crushed my hand between it and the driver airbag, which broke all the bones in my hand and I had to have pins placed in my hand.
