Door mirrors corroding, drivers side broke off while hand washing with sponge.VW will not replace because warranty has expired. Car is five years old and in excellent condition, no sign of rust anywhere.

The contact owns a 2007 Volkswagen passat. The contact stated that while driving in a snowstorm, the windshield wipers stopped operating due to the heavy volume of snow, causing the contact's vision to be obscured. The vehicle was inspected by a dealer who informed him that there was no repair for it but they could get the wipers to function. One year later, the failure occurred again. The failure mileage was 40,000.

The 2007 Jetta 2.5 has a front air vent which has been designed poorly and makes a rattling sound. The fixed it several times and it still make sounds and several of my friends have the same issue with their Jetta.
