Jetta 2.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 111,000 miles

My vehicle is kept in a garage over night, but during the rainy months in the Pacific Northwest since Winter 2014-2015 I've noticed water sloshing around but am unable to find where it's coming in or where it is at. My car does NOT have a sun roof. There are not any water spots on the interior and it sounds like it's in the rear or passenger side. However, when ever my husband has checked the passenger doors, etc he is unable to find the water.

I have not taken it into the dealership yet, but would like to hear from anyone else who has had this problem.

Jetta SE Wagon 5 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 112,000 miles

The car has had problems that are not normal to me. First, the side mirrors froze up after 36months and they would not fix because warranty was out. Wanted $1000.00 to fix. Was told half-ass story that it was because they are made out of aluminum. Now water leaks into passenger side, bad when it rains.

This car is garage kept and has all work done as recommended. Took it into dealer and they want $450.00 to look at it. Of course they have never seen this problem before. Right. I stopped buying American made cars because of this kind of crap and this will be my last V.W. I will stick with Honda and Toyota.
