VW should just bite the bullet and fix the electrical problem with the melting fuse and replace the defective radios. They have their problems, but allowing them to pile up will not help them keep or recover their customers.. I am not sure how long I will be able to defend VW from the critics with the electrical and radio problems I am having. If there is no solution soon I will be forced to sell the TDI wagon and buy a dependable car with a different badge on it...

Three times in three months this fuse has melted. I have owned this car for 18 months and the problems continue to pile up... Radio died, shade screen for the panoramic sun roof ripped, 30 amp fuse has melted 3 times, other than these issues, I like the car. But I cannot continue to have fuses melt and no radio, so if there is no solution for the fuse/radio problem, I guess it will have to go...

THE FRUSTRATING PART IS THAT THIS OCCURRED IN THE PRIOR YEAR MODELS AND WAS INFACT A RECALL... WITH THAT SAID I CALLED VW ONCE THIS FIRST OCCURRED AND HAD THE QUICK FIX, WHICH WAS A NEW FUSE. THIS WORKED FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS. HOWEVER, THE MELTING CONTINUED AND THE FUSE NO LONGER FIXED WITH A SIMPLE WIGGLE. I WAS FORCED, FOR SAFETY SAKE, TO HAVE A NEW FUSE BOX INSTALLED TODAY. LET'S HOPE THERE WILL BE A RECALL AND I WILL BE COMPENSATED FOR THIS ISSUE.
