Jetta SE 2.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 72,000 miles

while in traffic , the RPM goes up even the vehicle is stopped. Also you can hear the engine louder like you have pressed the gas pedal.

Also it cuts off some time for odd reason.

Also it make choking noise before cutting off.

Update from Mar 9, 2016: The same symptoms exist when in Park.
