Driving away from the dealers, the weather turned and was getting cold outside..snow etc. I turned the heater selector to 3 and noticed a whistling sound while I had the radio on. I thought maybe the radio channel was causing the whistle. I kept trying things until I noticed that if I turn the heater selector down to 2 that the whistle sound dissipated... I made a appointment for this and a transmission issue at the same time and they discovered the heater motor that controls the vent flap inside the housing that regulates the airflow, was not closing correctly. They ordered and new motor and I am waiting for the repairs ...Hope things start looking better soon. My first Volkswagen and I am wondering If I may have made a mistake :(
