CEL came on. Code was "P0106 Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Range/Performance Problem"
Removed MAP sensor, was covered in oil. Lot of oil in the intake manifold, which signified PCV failure. Replaced PCV diaphragm.
500 miles later code P2188 System Too Rich Off Idle Bank 1. Fix replace MAP sensor due to damage from oil. 500 miles later CEL again. P0106 again. Some residual oil in intake manifold. Replaced PCV diaphragm with higher quality.
Volkswagen Technical Bulletin needs to be performed. Update PCM. VW MAY cover even though warranty has expired. Otherwise 1-1.5 hours service.
**Reprogramming will disable cruise control. Technician must re-enable it.

The MAF sensor shouldn't go bad so soon especially since the car is fairly new

Extremely upsetting not to be able to depend on a vehicle that doesn't have lots of miles on it.
