Car didn't seem to shift properly. Sometimes would not accelerate at all-it felt like it was in neutral. They first thought it was the turbo. After several days waiting for parts, they said the problem wasn't fixed. Volkswagen corporate involved. They had to order part from Germany so estimate another 10-14 days!
This car was purchased for my 16 year old so she would have a safe car to drive. She almost got rear ended several times because the car wouldn't go. Very dangerous! Waiting to see what happens. I will update.
Update from Jun 7, 2016: Only 2800 miles on the car. They got corporate Volkswagen involved and turns out is was the car's computer. I had to wait for the part to come from Germany. Took a total of 28 days. They did give me a loaner car.

A clunk and jerk when accelerating at low APR and downshifting. Also, a bang sound is heard when shifting to reverse.
