I start to smell gas coming out my ac an then the car start slowing down an when I hit the gas pedal to speed up it doesn't go pass 2000 RPM driving only like 15mph so I stop the car an turn the ignition off an when I go back to starting the car it woke start

Medical attention was not received. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer for diagnostic testing or repairs. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 6,742.

Brand new Jetta with about 8000 miles. After about 20-25 minutes highway driving rattles and stalls on surface street. Had two "just missed" accidents trying to make left turn the last couple of weeks. Have taken it to dealer twice. They tell me can't find anything wrong with it.
