Jetta LS

  • Automatic transmission
  • 65,000 miles

The glass panel between the windshield and the sun roof shattered overnight while parked in my driveway. I could find no reason for this happening.

Jetta S

  • Automatic transmission
  • 4,000 miles

I was PARKED and my windshield cracked, no hole or signs of any impact. At the time I brushed it off and called my insurance to get it repaired, after reading other complaints I feel like this is just another issue Volkswagen is pretending doesn’t exist with their cars. This isn’t my only issue with Volkswagen, my local dealer is a bunch of idiots, they either pretend to be stupid to avoid helping me or maybe they really are a bunch of donkeys. I’ll be posting every issue I’ve had with this car since I leased it in November of 2018.

Jetta 2.0L

  • Manual transmission
  • 24,000 miles

Was driving my lovely Jetta when there was a low pop in the windshield without any impact or object hitting it. Within hours the crack grew 8 inches and it over a foot long after two days. I believe this is caused by stress. Bought the car new in Nov 2018. I live in Ventura CA so there are no extreme temperatures to blame.
