Air con compressor had a leak. Had it replaced with a second hand one, that also developed a leak a few weeks later. Super annoying in 40C weather, and also affects defog functionality.

This problem was only able to be diagnosed after they fixed the AC switch and refilled the coolant, which were not the problems since the AC still does not work.
